Founder / President
Maj Moore has served 19 years as Legal Advisor within the Canadian Armed Forces and completed 3 tours in Afghanistan.
A proud member of the Soldier On Warrior Games Program, Maj. Moore competed with Team Canada in 2019 where he discovered a significant need existed to support our injured and ill military members and veterans. These athletes need financial support to acquire adaptive sports equipment to encourage our injured and ill veterans to make new friends in the community and remain in their "new sport".
Since suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in March 2017, Maj Moore has started the Gallant Knights Charity Sports Association (NFP), to assist others rehabilitate through their continued participation in adaptive sports.
On behalf of all of our excellent and dedicated volunteers, organization partners, corporate sponsors and Invictus & Warrior Games Alumni, Maj Moore would like to convey that by coming out and participating in our Annual Charity Poker Rally, you are truly making a noticeable difference in the lives of those who have suffered the most by serving their country and communities.
Thank you sincerely for your support; we encourage you to participate in our Annual Rally. By doing so you are truly making a difference. Enjoy the Rally and Drive Safe.

On a personal level, giving back is important to the community and my greatest accomplishment was to create the Manon Lacasse Scholarship for Women’s Hockey at the University of Ottawa to recognize the hard work and commitment of student-athletes.
I joined the GK because this organization’s mandate will give me a great sense of fulfillment and the ability to give back to our veterans. “I can make a difference”.
